Lufthansa Increases Flights to China

The German carrier Lufthansa has announced that it is increasing the number of its direct flights to Shanghai and Nanjing of China.
From on April 16, the service of Frankfurt-Shanghai is increased to two flights per day.
The first flight leaves Shanghai at 13:30 and arrives in Frankfurt at 19:00 local time, while the second flight departs Shanghai at 23:30 and arrives at 5:30 local time.
In addition, the number of flights on the Frankfurt to Nanjing route has been increased to four per week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.


Lufthansa currently has services in five cities in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, and Hong Kong.

Lufthansa continues to provide daily Guangzhou to Frankfurt services. The changes will enable Lufthansa to operate 38 weekly flights to the Chinese mainland and double daily services to Hong Kong, a total of 52 flights per week.

In the new summer schedule, the number of weekly flights offered by Lufthansa to and from the Asia-Pacific will grow to 163 flights a week to and from 19 destinations in 10 countries.
