Delta airlines offer customers in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Jackson, Tenn., and Owensboro, Ky. their first nonstop access to Delta’s global network of destinations with nonstop service between their hometowns and Delta’s second-largest hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Delta Connection® carrier Big Sky Airlines will operate the new flights using 19-seat Beechcraft 1900D aircraft, featuring stand-up cabins.At the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport passengers will have connecting opportunities to more than 400 peak-day departures to 112 nonstop destinations.
“Delta is pleased to be expanding the choices offered to our customers by providing service to customers in three communities where there is a critical need for air service,” said David Bishko, Delta’s staff vice president of Alliances. “Delta’s flights to Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Owensboro will reconnect three fast-growing heartland communities to the world with convenient connections to an expansive network of domestic and international destinations via our convenient and efficient Cincinnati hub.”
In each market, Delta Connection carrier Big Sky will initially operate one to two daily round-trip flights timed for convenient connections to and from Cincinnati.
