Experience British Airways new Boeing 777-300ER* aircraft, the world's largest twin-jet airplane, on flights to dubai from london. The airline is the first UK operator to fly the 777-300ER, and will have six into service by 2012. Dubai is the first Middle Eastern destination to welcome the new aircraft.

British Airways Chief Executive Willie Walsh said, "Our introduction of the B777-300ER is British Airways at its innovative best."

Walsh said, "This is the first aircraft to be fitted with our new World Traveller and World Traveller Plus cabins and a new in-flight entertainment system that offers over 700 hours of movies, TV and music options on demand."

"It is also the greenest in our longhaul fleet, generating 15% less CO2 emissions per seat than the Boeing 777-200," he added.

The aircraft has a range of 7,600 nautical miles and will fly regularly to Dubai, Mumbai, New Delhi and Chicago.

The new in-flight entertainment system features more than 230 TV programmes, 70 films and 400 CDs - providing customers with 50% more choice on movies and doubling the range of TV and music options - plus plug and play technology, as well as up to 60% bigger high-resolution screens.
