New leading electronics retailer at Copenhagen Airport

Dixons Travel is going to open two new stores at Copenhagen Airport in late August, followed by a third later in the year. Dixons Travel will be the first of its kind in Denmark and is a leading electronics retailer offering competitive prices and outstanding service. Dixons Travel aims to launch the latest technology products at the airport before other points of sale in Denmark.

“The new Dixons Travel brand will give Copenhagen Airport a leading edge in electronics at competitive prices. The Dixons Travel stores will feature a broad range of electronics. It is an important part of our strategy of offering attractive brands to passengers, said Carsten Nørland, VP, Sales, at Copenhagen Airport.

“We are delighted to be able to opening three stores in Copenhagen Airport. Passengers will soon be able to select the latest technology at prices below the high street, and receive expert advice from our sales colleagues, said Carl Cowling, Dixons Travel Retail Director.

Competitive prices
The prices of hardware will be below the prices of similar products at other stores in Denmark.

Dixons Travel makes regular price checks on the local market in order to retain its leading position in terms of pricing.
The Dixons Travel stores will be located in Terminals 2 and 3 and are scheduled to open in late August. Moreover, Dixons Travel will open an Add+ store offering accessories such as covers, chargers, earphones and the like. This store is scheduled to open in the autumn.
